Our Process

How Our Private Tutoring Process Works

At Time Academy, we believe that effective tutoring begins with careful planning. Every student has different academic goals, learning styles and scheduling needs, which is why we follow a personalised tutoring process.

1. Initial Academic Consultation

We begin by understanding the student's academic background, current level, strengths, challenges and objectives. During this stage, we discuss:

  • Current school or university programme
  • Subjects requiring support
  • Examination dates and academic deadlines
  • Previous academic performance
  • Learning goals and expectations

This initial assessment allows us to recommend the most appropriate tutoring plan.

2. Tutor Matching

Once we understand the student's needs, we carefully match them with a tutor who has the relevant academic expertise and teaching experience. When selecting a tutor, we consider:

  • Subject specialisation
  • Academic level
  • Teaching style
  • Previous tutoring experience
  • Student's learning preferences

Our goal is to ensure that every student works with the tutor best suited to support their academic success.

3. Lesson Scheduling

We coordinate lesson times based on the availability of both the student and the tutor. Our academic coordination team manages the scheduling process to ensure lessons fit comfortably around school, university and other commitments. Where possible, we also provide flexibility for rescheduling when required.

4. Personalised Study Plan

Together with the tutor, we create a structured study plan tailored to the student's objectives. The plan may include:

  • Weekly lesson schedule
  • Priority topics
  • Revision timetable
  • Homework and independent study tasks
  • Past-paper practice
  • Examination preparation
5. Ongoing Academic Support

Learning continues beyond each lesson. Throughout the programme, our academic coordination team stays in contact with both the student and tutor to monitor progress, adjust the study plan where necessary and ensure lessons continue to meet the student's evolving needs.

Our aim is not simply to arrange lessons, but to provide a structured academic support system that helps students achieve long-term success.
